MAP Test and Balance

Several years ago Raytheon Polar Services Company wanted to standardize the “Air Balance Procedure” for their facilities in the South Pole and they came up with a very simple procedure.  Basically it broke out the procedure into two steps.  Pre-Air balance and Air Balance.

In the Pre air balance section it listed items in two categories; Equipment check, and System Check.  Both of these are very simple to develop.

In the Air Balancing section it has a step by step procedure for “Air Handling Equipment Balance” and “System Balancing”.
